SURPRISES, SURPRISES, SURPRISES!

Hello all my loyal readers.... Sorry it has been so long with a new post, but I've been preparing myself to start my junior year of college & moving into my first house has been pretty hectic. But now that I'm back, like I never left, I have so many surprises coming for you in the next few weeks! If you read my last post you know that I have been really trying to bring different forms of art to the blog. With that being said, here is my first announcement...... I WILL BE BRINGING SZA TO MY SCHOOL. Yes, you read it right SZA. Last semester I was hired as one of the bookers for my school and given the task of bringing awesome shows to my school and SZA is my very first show. I am so excited! If you don't know who she is, I will be posting some links of her in the description box, well because... you should know who she is. Also, if you are in the state of OH, you should definitely try to come to the show. The show is at Oberlin College which is about 40 minutes from Cleveland. Here is the link for online tickets... Online SZA Tickets. I hope to see a few of you at the show! Thanks once again for reading my blog. Don't forget to tell a friend! xoxo Stay Fashionable, Fashionista J

Here is the flyer for the show & of course those links I promised...

NEW DIRECTION FOR THE BLOG!

Hello all my beautiful readers! Welcome back to the blog. So, I have been gone for a few days now.... on an artistic quest so to speak! Now, I'M BACK with a new direction for the blog. I love how focused on fashion, my blog has been but I want this blog to encompass all art forms, including singers, poets, dancers, etc. So I will be doing an artist feature every week. I think that art is underestimated a lot because it is not seen as a "traditional" career. But, I think art is something that is truly revolutionary that can transform lives and lead to healing. So, if you are an artist no matter how small the scale or large the scale and you want to be featured on this blog... shoot me an email over to styledbyjas@yahoo.com so we can connect and I can learn more about your art.
In the words of one of my favorite artists Jean Michel Basquiat "I don't listen to what art critics say. I don't know anybody who needs a critic to find out what art is".
